These terms apply to your use of FarmOwl, operated by Preetham Murthy, in India. By signing in, you agree to them. Questions: preetam.murthy@gmail.com.
What FarmOwl is
FarmOwl helps you plan farm activities, keep a task calendar, sync it with Google Calendar, and work on your farm with the people you invite. It uses an AI assistant to suggest care protocols, schedules and advice.
AI advice is a guide, not a guarantee
The assistant's suggestions can be incomplete or wrong, and it cannot see your farm. Before acting on advice that matters — especially doses of fertiliser, pesticides or medicines, planting dates, or anything affecting animal health — check it with a qualified source such as your agronomist, veterinarian or local Krishi Vigyan Kendra. You are responsible for the decisions you make on your farm.
Your account and your content
- You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for what happens under it.
- You keep ownership of the information you add. You allow FarmOwl to store and process it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
- Only add information about other people — such as team members' phone numbers, birthdays or blood groups — with their permission.
- Invite only people you trust: members of your farm can see and change its activities and tasks.
Acceptable use
Don't use FarmOwl to break the law, to access other people's farms without permission, to interfere with the service, or to upload material you don't have the right to share.
Availability and changes
FarmOwl is provided as it is and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Access may be suspended for misuse. These terms may be updated; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Preetham Murthy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including crop, livestock or income losses — arising from your use of FarmOwl or reliance on its suggestions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
